Chris Sandford is a dynamic and enthusiastic Purchasing Director with over 15 years’ experience from the automotive industry within Volvo Car Group (based in Sweden). He is highly skilled and competent in leading transformations and has proven change management skills resulting in major improvements in each business unit he has lead. His areas of expertise within Purchasing include leading key purchasing and sourcing initiatives, savings plans and general business reporting. Cost management, business analytics, supplier choice and supplier strategy, negotiations and project management are all part of his teams deliverables.

Chris has a Bachelor Degree from Edinburgh University in Business Management as well as being certified as a 6-Sigma Black Belt, PMI and recently completed a Mini MBA in Procurement.
