Christian Lanng

Christian Lanng is the CEO, Co-founder and Chairman of Tradeshift, a platform for all business interactions. Tradeshift helps companies run more efficiently, creating new value from old processes like invoicing, payments and workflow.

Christian has been an entrepreneur since he was 19, his first company involved first generation mobile browsers and e-commerce solutions. He then co-founded EasyTrade, built and designed for the Danish Government, as the world's first open-source peer-to-peer platform for trade.

Christian then served as Head of Division for the IT-infrastructure Division for the Danish Government, managing projects within open data and open source, health-care and supply chain. Christian was instrumental in launching PEPPOL the European Unions, open infrastructure for cross-border e-business.

Christian is the recipient of several industry awards; Techcrunch award for most innovative business start-up, Top 100 Talent under 30 in Denmark, the Danish IT & Finance Industry’s award for Innovation. Christian holds a B.A in Sociology from Aalborg Universitet. Christian currently serves as young advisor to the VP of the European Union Neelie Kroes.
