Joe is an executive with extensive experience managing supply management programs in execution of firm wide strategic sourcing initiatives. He has proven success in delivering Total Cost of Ownership savings utilizing 7-step sourcing methodologies, demand management and contract compliance. Highly effective at developing vendor management programs driving increased customer satisfaction and supplier risk mitigation. His consultancy experience has focused on developing solutions for procurement outsourcing engagements for clients in consumer package goods, manufacturing, financial services, contract manufacturing and IT. Currently, he manages indirect spend across multiple procurement categories for Cisco’s Global Sales Operations business functions. In this role he builds relationships with executive and tactical leadership gathering critical business requirements and demand signals to provide recommended procurement strategy. He also delivers business function plans to stakeholders, category management and service delivery including spend analysis, sourcing strategy, planning and execution in the delivery of year over year procurement optimization.
