Daeon Richardson

Daeon Richardson is Senior Vice President, Global Procurement at Northern Trust Corporation. She is a global procurement Executive with over 20 years of experience. A strategic visionary with progressive experience delivering results in global sourcing, marketing and consumer research; and entreprenuership. She has a proven track record of leading teams to deliver bottom-line results, building procurement capabilities and operational excellence to multibillion-dollar companies. Prior to Northern Trust, Daeon worked for Procter and Gamble, The Clorox Company and Kraft Foods/Mondelez International. As a strong strategic leader she has designed world class, processes, methodologies and capabilities, and led many successful procurement transformation and continuous improvement programs. She is also co-founder and co-owner of All Things Protein, LLC.

Daeon was recently a featured speaker a Michigan State University’s Alumni LENS. Her work was recognized and shortlisted in 2014 at the Supply Management Awards in London, England for Best People Development. She has also won many other Functional Excellence and Cost Savings Awards. She holds a BA in Materials and Logistics/Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University, Eli Broad College of Business; with a minor in Spanish language, history and culture. She also holds certifications from - Universidad Nacional de Educacion a Distancia - Denia, Spain for Spanish language, The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Professionals - MCIPS, Toastmasters - CTM and a license in Associate Ministry, with missionary experience in Africa.
