Stephen is a respected leader in procurement and process improvement. As part of Anthem’s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) strategic sourcing team, he focuses on developing and managing the category strategies for strategic sourcing and growing relationships into trusted partnerships. In the past year, He has worked on projects related to finance & accounting, facilities management, print/document services, claims administration, and operational improvement. In addition, He founded the procurement process center of excellence and leads the operational efficiency team investigating our current operating model for continuous improvements. Stephen earned his master’s degree in Supply Chain Management at the University of San Diego, graduating at the top of his class. He also holds two undergraduate degrees in Finance and Logistics & Supply chain management from the University of Maryland. In his spare time, he teaches graduate level business courses as an Adjunct Professor for Brandman University.
