Sy Henderson

Sy Henderson is an up and coming Procurement Executive who has worked for leading CPG companies like Procter & Gamble, Mars Inc., and now Mondelēz International in various capacities which include designing and leading global teams, building new regional procurement organizations, and designing and implementing capability programs focused on advanced supplier relationship management and advanced sourcing strategy development.

In his current role, Sy is responsible for developing and executing strategic programs which drive productivity, business continuity, cash conversion, and innovation for Mondelez’ s $5.5B NA Biscuit Category.  He is also an active member of Mondelez’ s Global Transformation team which is focused on delivering best in class performance through global organization design, capability building, and talent development.

On a personal note, Sy enjoys international travel and community service.  A former active member of Portland’s New Generations Rotary Club,  Sy has done humanitarian work in Guatemala and most recently in Tanzania where he helped build schools in a Maasai Village through the Red Sweater Project.   He is looking to get more involved in local (NYC area) or international community service organizations so if you have any suggestions, please let him know.
